Building Your Love Muscle through Meditation

A perpetual student, Valerie has had a thirst for learning her whole life. She has studied and practiced Buddhist-inspired mindfulness meditation and facilitated youth and adult meditation courses for over a decade, while living a Christian way of life since birth. Valerie is awakening to a deeper awareness and understanding of “God”. As she continues on her spiritual journey, she wishes to share her unique insights with others, as a loving and compassionate guide, helping others on their spiritual journeys towards a more abundant life.

The Golden Rule, common to many faith traditions, is “Love one another as you love yourself.” This is predicated on the requirement that you love yourself first. Yes, sometimes loving ourselves is hard to do. In this four-week course, you will learn about self-love and building your love muscle through guided group breath awareness and loving-kindness meditation practices as well as insightful spiritual readings from a variety of inspirational teachers.

All are welcome and no prior meditation experience is required. Just bring an open mind and heart, a keen interest in growing and a willingness to BE in community with others!
